EPISODE 14: ANOKHI WOMEN'S CLUB Holiday Soiree



A FASHIONISTA'S GUIDE TO AN ANOKHI HOLIDAY! was ANOKHI Women's Club's second installment of their interactive seminar series of events. It took place on October 23rd at Revival in Toronto. The Club surely lived up to its tagline "Keep It Hot! Keep It Exclusive!", with non-stop fun and festive presentations by ANOKHI's Junior Fashion Editor Jacqueline Parrish, ANOKHI's Style Editor Monika Bhondy, the owner of Art of Wellness, Dr. Shamira Hudda, Deepa Berar from MAC Cosmetics and Dagmar Jewelry. The Canadian Red Cross was also present to garner the support of the 200 women in attendance for their Pakistan Flood Relief effort.

While the ladies enjoyed a bag full of goodies worth over $150, gift raffles worth up to $300, and munched on snacks that were served throughout the day; they were enthralled by three fabulous fashion shows, each with its own unique twist. Montreal brand Cartise showcased their classic Holiday collection for the first time at a South Asian event. This was followed by an unexpected and innovative runway show depicting an array of couture gourmet cakes by Fine Cakes By Zehra. The evening closed off with a high energy, fun and funky runway show by New York's ALIA KHAN, who showcased a new line of tunics from her MOALI New York collection. Footwear was provided by Le Chateau and accessories by House of DAGMAR, and hair and make-up was sponsored by DONATO Salon and Spa.
