Words like 'sultry', 'sexy', 'siren' are just a few that come to mind when referring to feline actress Lisa Ray, who came on the scene almost 2 decades ago as one of the first Anglo looking model's to make it big in India.

Bagging major ad campaigns that made her the staple brand ambassador of many a global brand like Rado Watches and L'Oreal, she was recognized by the masses the world over, with her unique looks and alluring demeanour. Then a decade ago, she forayed into acting with notable movies such as 'Bollywood Hollywood' (2002), 'Water' (2005), 'I Can't Think Straight' (2007) and 'The World Unseen' (2008), making an indelible mark on the modern cinema scene.

2009 brought with it probably her biggest challenge to date, being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, multiple myeloma and a 2 year hiatus from public life.

Now, as a cancer graduate, Lisa is back in full force, and ANOKHI Magazine was pleased when she agreed to return to its cover as the ONLY personality to have graced its cover a total of 3 times, and ANOKHI PULSE TV was on set of the shoot of the July-August 2011 'Annual Entertainment Special Edition', to capture it all.
